Passengers, as we begin our descent into 2025, we’ll be leaving our cruising altitude of 30,000 feet and making a rapid descent to 15,000 feet.
The flight attendants will come through the cabin to collect any remaining trash. Please power down your electronics and ensure your seat belts are securely fastened.
Although the transition through the atmosphere might be a little unpredictable, it looks like clear skies ahead. That said, clear skies don’t always guarantee a soft landing, so stay fastened in until we've landed and come to a complete stop at the gate.
This first week into 2025 might give you the impression it’s time to bliss out, check out, take your foot off the pedal, forget your safety procedures, and basically float around like all bets are off. That’ll work for a while, but if you don’t keep your eyes on the horizon, you may be in for a hard landing come the second week of January. That’s not because things will dramatically change in your environment—though some of you might feel like the rug has been pulled out from under you—it will be because you’ve gotten a little complacent at the end of December.
Yup, you let the holidays make you feel a little too dreamy! Believe me, dreamy is a nice space to be—and it has its purpose—but you’ll want to wake up before we land. It’ll help ease the transition.
Though this may be the week you have the sudden impulse to quit your job, it’s not the week to actually do it. Instead, it’s the week to increase your meditation practice and get into alignment. When emotions are running high (obsessing over how much you dislike your job) and you wanna jump ship, you’re being called to get as clear as possible about what’s driving those impulses—then do some healing work to shift that energy into a higher frequency.
You might still quit your job a week, a month, or a year from now—when you do, you’ll handle it like a superhero and leave with all the respect you deserve. Because hey, what comes next for you requires superhero status. Even if the idea of quitting your job doesn’t resonate with you, the takeaway remains the same: get in alignment, be prepared, stay focused, be intentional, and plan ahead–a good mantra for 2025.
Whether it’s a new job, a creative venture, or some other leap of faith, you’re being called into something bigger.
As we lower our altitude and prepare for the final approach into 2025, remember that a smooth—or bumpy—landing hinges on how present and intentional you are right now. Keep your seat belt on, your vision clear, and your spirit open to any sudden gusts. The descent isn’t just about touching down—it’s about arriving with clarity and purpose.
Stay mindful, trust the process, and land this new year on solid ground, ready for what's about to unfold.
